Hello all hope you are well on this grey dull damp day I had a phone call last night from my MiL she asked if I could make her 4 cards 3 birthday cards for friends and a family member and also an anniversary card to send to my FiL so as the first birthday is for the 20th Jan I thought I better make a start so here is the first one the reason I used the title I did is because this image reminds of Eliza Doolittle what do you think????
Here it is
now regulars may remember the Turquoise Christmas card I made well this is from the same artist Helen Huang do think she resembles Eliza anyway papers are freebies matted onto silver mirri card and I also used the same lay out to the turquoise card
where this ribbon and lace flower is I was going to make a rosette to match the one on her top but decided to make this instead
so easy to make just get a short length of lace and do running stitch down one side gather and sew the 2 short ends together keeping the centre and closed as possible do the same with th ribbon then just a paper flower job done
I added the friends sentiment to the top corner and some red and turquoise gems
I love the rose papers in this and have used them in 1 of the others still to be made anyway that's it for now hope you like it
