going back to basics

Hello everyone well we have had more snow here it was non stop yesterday and has just knocked off for now but looks as though it could start again at any time
well as you may have read from previous posts my printer is no more I feel like I have had an arm amputated or something really weird so I thought you have all these lovely papers just sitting in draws you don't use as they are scanned so why not use them and stamps that have never seen an ink pad. Also I always see something in a magazine and think to myself I would love to try that and then put it away and never get round to it do I dug out a not to old issue of craft stamper mag and had a play this is what I came up with

Pretty straight  forward LO pale pink card blank just smaller than A5 matted with black card  then purple pearlised paper I have for gowd knows how long I got them not long after I started crafting from crafters companion   (so still didn't use any of my papers lol) stamped the image twice on to each colour card then cut out with an x cut die 

matted these onto more black card and that was it but I really enjoyed it
